"Like many my experience with many motorcycle dealers in the region have been disappointing, most act like if your not flashing 20 grand cash in the air they have no time for you. Just by chance one day while I was in Fayetteville I stopped at Elk River Powesports to check them out and ask some questions as I was considering another bike after many years away from riding, these folks were super friendly, very helpful and while I did not end up buying my current bike from them, found exactly what I was looking for from a private seller, Elk River Powersports was the first place I went for my initial service and they treated me right and that is as it should be because when I do get ready for a new bike this will be where I will go!"

"My experience was great with Elk River. I was looking for a Ninja 250 and the dealers in my area (Nashville) were too busy to help me. I decided to call Elk River and boy I am glad. They were extremely friendly and even got the bike ready in 2 hours for me to come down and purchase it. I was in and out very quickly and all my questions were answered by the technician. "I have bought from this shop a 2007 Suzuki S-40, 2007 Yamaha V-Star Silverado, 2008 Yamaha Royal Star Venture, and a 2009 V-Star 1100 and accessories. All of the staff is easy to work with and friendly. It is an "Old style" cycle shop and you can get advice from the maintenance staff if you are a do-it yourselfer. The staff is ready to bend over backwards to satisfy the customer. Excellent experience each and every time I visit the shop. The dealership stands behind what they sell and treat customers fairly. "

"I ended up buying my bike (2009 ZX-14) from another dealer only because they ran out, but I got my first 600-mile checkup and felt they did a tremendous job. These guys actually get on the bike, ride it, give it another once over and the whole nine. Sounds trivial, but you wouldn't believe how many folks I've talked to that said the "other guys" didn't even bother to take the bike for a test ride after having worked on it. Literally everyone I talked to was laid back and easy to talk to - always willing to answer questions and go the extra mile. I really appreciate a place that doesn't put pressure on you as soon as you walk in the door too. Can't find a better sales/service center staff in the southeast, in my opinion."

"I have been passivly trying to buy a dirt bike for the past few weeks. Your salesman Louis earned my business by doing things like returning my call and actually taking the time to answer my questions. It still amazes me how many dealerships have forgotten how to earn a persons business. I told the salesman what I was willing to spend, and he worked the deal. The whole process took a couple of days and phone calls but Louis worked hard to get me where I needed to be. I really didn't think I would be able to buy a new bike, based on my dealings with the dealers around the Huntsville area. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised when the salesman called and told me to come up and pick up my bike. Great buying experience, the bike was ready when I walked in the door and after only a few minutes I was on my way, with a great bike and a great deal."
